Facebook Vs Twitter

On Facebook, You Run Into Things Like This...

why yes, there are over 500,000 comments... Most of which do in fact say jump.

And This...

Facebook is a breeding ground for teenage drama and useless information.

And there are SO Many of These!

It takes a special kind of person to exploit our servicemen and women to get some likes on their Facebook page... and by "special", we mean "terrible"

 Twitter Doesn't Have Annoying Apps

Don't you hate it when you get notifications and they're all app requests?

But it Does Have Links and Hashtags

We love that Twitter makes it easy to find great new Twitter pages and sites to follow.

 And Only Some of That

This was tweeted after the theater shooting in Aurora Colorado in 2012. Some people see the trends and don't bother researching them!

But Loads of This!

We can't all be like Mike but if we were, we'd always have the best tweets.

Facebook Lets You Share As Much As You Want

It's kind of cool that you can choose between sharing something with only specific people or just friends of friends and not the entire web.

But Sometimes, That's a Bad Thing!

No, we don't want to hear about your breakfast today. Yes, we already know you like Brad. No, we don't want to text you. Please stop sharing your phone number every few posts!

 Twitter is Less Personal

Which isn't exactly a bad thing. No more run-ins with creep Aunt Leslie!

 But Both Are Versatile

In case you feel like you're missing out on who got dumped today, you can check your Facebook from most devices. The same goes for Twitter!

Both Have Room for Pictures

Which is good news because whether this was posted to Facebook or Twitter, plenty of people would still get to see it and make fun of one of the worst couple tattoo sets we've ever see.

13) But Twitter Doesn't Have Room for This

Dang Darrell, she seems like a keeper. Enjoy the month and a half of Facebook relationship drama!

14) Or This!

Last time we checked, the main use of Twitter wasn't to send people to hell.

15) So Twitter Wins!

It looks like we’ve all got a 140 character-sized hole in our hearts and Twitter has filled it.

How to Know If You have A Social Media Addiction?

 1)Rise and Shine

The first thing you do in the morning is brew a cup of coffee and see what's going on on your social media accounts... in fact, you probably start doing this before the coffee's even done.

 2) Fabulous Phones

You spend more time communicating through social media on your phone than through text or an actual phone call.

3) Nail News

Every time you try a new nail trend or polish color, you get more excited to post a picture of it to all of your followers than to show it off to the people in your real life.

4) Celebrity Sites

You have an entire blog or Twitter account dedicated to your favorite celebrities and you are always searching for new information to add to it.

5) Characters or Less

You plan your jokes around whether or not they would fit in 140 characters or less.

6) Checking In

You feel the need to tag your location on Facebook or check in on Foursquare every time you go anywhere... even your house!

7) This Photograph is Proof

You don't consider yourself in a relationship until you've posted pictures of you and your honey together on your Instagram/Facebook/Twitter/Goggle +.

8) Fashion Fix

You post OOTD photos of yourself all the time even though you don't have a blog or fashion-focused social media account.

9) Celebrate in Style

You never miss an opportunity to make a themed post. You buy outfits or items to wear for special events like holidays so you can post a picture of it.

10) Memes and Trends

All of your jokes and comments are based on what's getting reblogged and trending on Tumblr and Twitter.

11) Documenting Adventures

You only take pictures of your adventures so everyone can be jealous when you post them to Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

12) Quality Time

Instead of actually enjoying the company of your friends, when you're together, you spend the whole time looking for opportunities to post to Facebook about how much fun you're having.

13) Creative Time

You spend all of your time on Pinterest pinning items you'll never actually make yourself.

14) Food Photos

Every time you eat a meal, before you take a bite or say a prayer, you arrange your plate for the perfect Instagram picture.

15) Real Life

You know more about your friends and loved ones because of their Facebook than you do from just being around them or talking face-to-face.
